First Scrimmage

What a great scrimmage we had last night against the Yankees. I'm not certain anyone was keeping score since it was just some good game practice, but it seemed that everyone was doing a great job both hitting and fielding. Of course, there is always room for improvement and I'm sure the coaches will be working on that during the upcoming weeks.

Tasha has told me that there will be Exhibition Games on April 16 and a Jamboree on April 19. Mark your calendars and times will be shared as soon as we know.

Information on how to comment on the blog will be handed out at the next practice.

This will be the site where we will post pictures after each week's game, and at the end of the year, we will combine all of these posts/comments/photos into a book.

I took a few "practice" photos at the scrimmage -- just to get back into the "swing of things". Normally, every child will be in the photos, but tonight, I just got a few -- it was so cold!

You can find the photos here. Click "Slideshow" in the upper lefthand corner and it will show them all to you in a slideshow format.

If you have questions, please feel free to email me (Maria).
