Mets Fall in Last Inning to Coopertown

What an exciting game of back and forth for the Mets on Monday night. Despite drizzle and cooller temperatures, the Mets came out ready to play baseball, but somehow couldn't get their bats going until the next to last inning. Coopertown led 6-2 and then after some incredible batting, the Mets pulled ahead 7-6. With three minutes to go, the referees called for another inning and Coopertown scored three more runs. Since the Mets were the home team, we got last bat, but couldn't pull it off and loast 9-7. It was a great game to watch though and the excitement on both sides was palpable as our kids continued to hit and score in the next to last inning.

We hope to see Trevor back at the next game as he got hurt playing before the game and was unable to play.

Pitching this game was Jarrett Ray and Bailey Hooberry.

Good job, Mets!!

Photos for this game are posted here.
